The New Normal tableware was designed for a specific cultural moment, when shared meals became an act of negotiation. Leskovar Design Studio built the response into the objects themselves, protective barriers absorbed quietly into the form. We treated these functional objects as sculpture, finding in their shape what the design had already placed there. Common objects, looked at on their own terms.
